In March 2010, Paddington Media released The Cheetah Vox Mass Communication Platform capable of sending well over 70 thousand automated calls an hour. The software architecture has been in development for over 5 years.
Since it's release, The Cheetah Vox system has been used to record campaign messages by Austin Mayor Lee Leffingwell, Former Austin Mayor Gus Garcia, Former Austin Mayor Bruce Todd and Senator Kirk Watson. The system has already been used to send about 100-thousand automated calls throughout Austin for various local campaigns.
