About Us

The Paddington Crew
Paddington Media and Professor Winston We're an organization of dedicated Internet consultants.

Each of our clients receives individual service and support from one of our Solution Consultants.

Although each client only has to be in contact with one person, we work as a team to develop high quality websites, databases and custom applications.

Brandon Burris CEO

Contact Brandon
brandon burris image Brandon started Paddington Media with the idea of getting powerful communication tools into the hands of the right people. He started with Media Suite Pro, a versatile content management system that helps clients manage their growing Web presence.
Next, he developed Cheetah Vox, a communications software capable of blasting out thousands of automated phone calls and text messages.

A tireless innovator, Brandon’s always mapping out ideas for new applications. When he’s not in front of his computer tweaking his code,… ummm we’re not too sure what else he does.

Actually, we’re pretty sure Brandon’s also trying to train Winston, our office dog, to code, so that he can have few extra moments out of the day.

Tom Crandall COO

Contact Tom
tom crandall Tom has worked with Paddington Media from nearly the beginning. He brings crucial project manager experience from collaborating with such clients as the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms and the Department of Defense.

When he’s not at work, he’s either racing his dogs around the house or racing himself around Austin. An avid runner, Tom strives to find the prefect trails for his six-hour runs. That’s right…six hours.

Tom’s beliefs about health and exercise have made their way into the Paddington office. If you come by the office, you can have a seat on one of the half-dozen giant exercise balls he got for the team.

Lindsay Stewart
Director of Administration

Contact Lindsay
Lindsay is the captain of the ship and keeps Paddington running smoothly. She manages a team of exceptional designers and innovators. Her leadership vision has helped to ensure the quality of deliverables for clients such as Dr. Pam Ryan.

Her pet project is to get Winston, the office mascot, to not beg for food during staff meetings.

When she’s not leading her hungry team or love-starved dog, she’s experimenting on expanding her world culinary skills. A native of Austin, she loves getting inspiration for new dishes from all the new restaurants popping up around town. We’d ask her for some, but she never shares.

Olga Bennett
Senior Programmer

Contact Olga
Olga has been developing Web sites for Paddington Media from its early days. She has had the pleasure of working for such hip people like Go Local Austin and JBlacks. With nearly a decade experience working as a front-end Web developer, she’s known as the HTML and CSS Queen.

Born and raised in Kazakhstan, Olga loves to teach us a few bits of Russian. Unfortunately, no one has the memory capacity to remember anything. Nonetheless, she continues with the hope that someday at least someone will learn to pronounce her name right. The challenge is on.

When she’s not adding the bling to our clients’ sites, she’s busy playing wiffle ball with her kids.

Coleman Stewart
Programmer

Contact Coleman
Coleman Stewart's image Coleman has been with Paddington since the dark days before Media Suite Pro. He likes to remind the office of how everything was different back in his day, and that the whippersnappers these days have it too easy with their fancy content management systems.

Coleman works with computers, plays with computers, and spends the time between staring blankly at computer screens; he has been accused of thinking like a computer on disturbingly solid grounds, and is basically one surgery away from being a cyborg.

"Ah, the Blue Screen of Death! My immortal enemy!"

Michael Teller
Programmer

Contact Michael
Michael Teller image Look up “coder extraordinaire” in Wikipedia and you’ll find Michael Teller. While it’s possible he may have placed it there, Michael has the skills to boast. C or SQL – Just to name a few. Michael has helped put together some fast moving Web apps and databases for Paddington.

When he’s not writing code, he likes to teach it. If you’re curious, he’ll be more than willing to sit down and teach you a few basics. If you talk code monkey with Michael, be sure to take notes.

David Teller
Front-End Designer

Contact David
Chugging a monster can of …er.. Monster, David can design and code a Web site seamlessly. Since joining Paddington, he has contributed his skills to some of our bigger projects such as Texas Water Development Board.

Always the cheery fellow, his favorite movies include: Akira, Zatoichi, and all of the Godzilla films (except Godzilla 1985). According to David, the quote that most defines him ironically does not come from any of those movies.

We often hear him reciting the following:
"I am deathly afraid of bats however I feel at home in shadows and heights. I spend my nights fighting the foes of justice. Some know me as the greatest detective, others call me the caped crusader, but most know me as...

...not a hero but a dark knight."

Robert Wingfield

Contact Robert
Robert Wingfield image Robert has a solid eye for the latest styles, and he is always pushing the boundaries design. He has assembled some trippy layouts for the happy people at Go Local and our very own CheetahVox.

Matt Eng

A native of New Jersey, Matt set off at an early age to travel the world and capture it on camera or in his sketchbook. He loves all things japanese and even lived on that little island for a few years. To practice his Japanese, sometimes you can catch him speaking it around the office, but no one can understand him.

Jaime Contreras
Sales Representative

Contact Jaime
Jaime Contreras image Jaime is our representative in San Jose, CA. With a keen eye on technology trends, he's busy building up our portfolio of dynamic partners and clients.

When he's not networking and connecting the right people to the services they need (who knows when that is...), he practices Capoeira. What's Capoeira? Imagine a Brazilian martial art performed like a modern dance. Still not sure? Ask Jaime and he'll give you a demonstration.

Philip Keese
IT Specialist

Contact Phillip
Philip Keese image A fixture at Paddington Media, Philip is our IT guru. Having server issues? He’s the guy to talk to. On the flip side, if you have any spare parts and USB cables left unattended, he’ll have no problem with making them into his own Frank’n-computer.

Philip can often be seen raiding the candy bowl in the office.

Jake Miller
Programing Intern

Contact Jake
Jake Miller image Jake is a master of the Intern-lectual arts. Though only in the beginning months of a Ph.D in theoretical computer science he guffaws at the daunting tasks handed down by the all-knowing superiors.

Paddington prophesy foretells Jake as being "The One" and will save all employees from the Matrix. They all look forward to this event.

Professor Winston
Office Dog and Boss

Contact Professor Winston
Professor Winston image Discovered at the Town Lake Animal Shelter, Winston started off as an everyday bird chaser and a hydrant sniffer. From these humble beginnings, Winston has grown up to be a dog of success.

From building attractive and functional Web sites to developing powerful, user-friendly communications software, Winston is out to capture the Internet.

In his off-time, he begs for food at social get-togethers and networking events. He's on a strict diet. So, don't let the office staff catch you feeding him.
